Although global measures are stemming the spread of Covid-19, we have been forced to adapt to this new challenge. The demonstration of special competency in echocardiography in the fields of adult cardiology, cardiac anesthesiology, and critical care medicine, by achieving certification and recertification from the National Board of Echocardiography remains important with potential impact on future careers. Accordingly, the NBE process of testing and certification has adapted to the pandemic. **NBE 2020 Exams Update**
Registration closed on April 1st and will remain closed for our exams that were previously scheduled to take place in July.
In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, concerns from our examinees and the closure of many domestic and global Prometric testing centers, the National Board of Echocardiography made the decision to reschedule our July 2020 exams to September as follows:
ASCeXAM and ReASCE September 15, 2020
Advanced PTE and RePTE September 22, 2020
Basic PTE September 29, 2020
